Illinois Carriage Driving

I specialize in carriage driving for pleasure or competition (not commercial). I am certified by the CAA (level 1) and successful Combined driving competitor.

I am also a beginner to first level experienced dressage instructor and rider. I specialize in adults and illuminating the mysteries of dressage: the theory, "hows" and " whys" of ridden and driven dressage.

I love teaching people about carriage driving and dressage. New students have lots of questions, and I encourage the "thinking horseman." Sometimes I get questions about why I do something a certain way, and it makes me question why I have done something a certain way for so long that I have forgotten the "why." Sometimes new eyes (my students) make me think and justify the things I have done automatically for so long!
