Not only do I teach sewing, but I offer a full range of classes and services that relate to the field of fashion design. I not only teach how to make a dress, but also how to make a clutch purse and shoes to match.
I practice CDC safety guidelines concerning PPE and disinfecting my person and the facility for germs with ALL my classes and students. I prefer online lessons only BUT if a one on one is scheduled we will be socially distanced for the full class.
I have an open studio for my art lessons and a gym for my yoga, dance, and chakra activation if students travel to me
Art is subjective, the process of creating is what's important and I love for my students to love their art. The focus is on the student mastering their own style.
Art is also a great stress relief.
I also specialize in Chakra paintings and protest art.

I have been sewing since i was about 10. I love to sew and especially enjoy sharing my passion with children. I am sad that many school systems offer no exposure to sewing in their curriculum. Lessons are presented in my Brookfield, Illinois home. I began lessons in 2013. I customize lessons for each student based on experience level and what type of sewing they want to do. Not everyone wants to learn the same thing. I offer beginner and skill-building lessons and refreshers. I am happy to schedule consultations to sewists who need help with a current project. I love to share my knowledge of sewing and have many secret tips that are not in the pattern instructions or the sewing books. My students keep telling me I should write a book with my "extra" information. The students love to come to my school which is well-lighted, has the most up-to-date easy to use machines, refreshments, rest room and great social amenities. I have been teaching since 1974 and some of my students have gone on to become designers. Check out my website for a visual of the school. Sewingcenterunlimited.com or.net.
