Jill Saiki Golf Lessons
About
Hello!
My name is Jill Saiki. I recently graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition. I have played the game of golf since I was very young and discovered that it is an amazing sport that is both fun and challenging. I believe golf has the power to teach many life lessons: being respectful, being honest, taking responsibility, not dwelling on the past, and working hard to achieve your goals.
Objective
Every individual should not be molded into the same "cookie-cutter" swing. I strive to work with an individual's natural swing and improve off of what works best for them. The individuals mental game, fitness, and nutrition is equally important. As a nutritionist, I believe without proper "body fuel" an individual cannot achieve the highest yielding results. This is especially crucial during tournament play.
Playing Experience
I played for the Glenbrook North High School Girls' Varsity Golf Team for four years. During this period I was captain for three years and MVP for two years. I was then recruited and played for the Northern Illinois University Womens' Golf Team.
Teaching Experience
I have worked with children between the ages of 5 and 12, both one-on-one and in a group setting. Besides teaching, I assisted with creating and organizing golf camp activities. I am the assistant coach for the Highland Park High School Girls' Golf Team.
I hope to work with you at the range or on the course in the near future!
