All of our teachings are based on Biomechanic - pure science. The laws of physics applied to the human body. For a player that means learning how to use the entire body to pitch, hit and field. The basis is arm safety FIRST. Instead of teaching all hitters to swing the exact same way I utilize the OnBaseU movement screening with my clients to understand how their body works. I then utilize video analysis to identify swing flaws and determine if they are mechanical issues or if their movement deficiencies are the cause.

I believe in keeping the sports fun. With fun grows passion, determination and success. There are too many coaches and trainers that over analyze mechanics that remove the basic functions in both Baseball and Golf. My goal with my students is to simplify overall technique and tier to the students natural abilities. Baseball specifically we see kids playing travel ball and 100 games a year but with little instruction and basic game strategy. I am a veteran teacher (25 years), umpire (30 years) high school and travel baseball coach (10 years) who subscribes to several training programs, simplifying and and combining most of them into a simplified, bottom up approach. After the first session, I will evaluate your player's strengths and weaknesses using age and goal appropriate rubrics and develop and individual training program. I will travel within a 15 minute radius of Woodridge, but I prefer to workout at Orchard Park Field on Janes Avenue.
