Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A new student will come in and we will spend the first 15 minutes, hitting shots and talking about the struggles that the player has faced in their games. We use video and other pieces of technology to get on the same page as player/coach to begin to understand eachothers backgrounds in the game of golf. From there, we create a plan of action to reach the students goals which includes how they will practice and what they will practice. We then begin working on the areas to make improvements.

How did you get started teaching?
I began as a golfer at age 6 and moved up to playing professional tournaments on mini tours. Along the way i was in love with the process of learning and as a player I started teaching others on what I had learned from the game. After I stopped playing professionally I turned my attention to teaching and began studying tirelessly the art of teaching and the mechanics of the golf swing. The journey has led me to meet some of the greatest minds in golf, science, business and more which have led me to understand how to help people the best. My desire to help every single person improve leads me to travel the country every year seeking out the latest information that will make me a better teacher or better understand what my players are thinking or feeling about the game.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all skills and abilities. I have taken juniors to the Division I college level, professional players and have also taken a 140 shooter down to 82 in 6 weeks! My only requirement is a student who is willing to learn about the game from a non-biased and fun approach.
