I teach martial arts classes with a holistic approach that centers teh student in their own unique body. I focus on body awareness, balance, agility, and leverage to develop an intuitive sense of how to generate force and apply it to effective action.
I've been a martial arts instructor for ~20 years and have studied numerous styles, including Wing Chun Kung Fu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Okinawan Karate, Escrima, Krav Maga, Boxing and Kickboxing.
I have found great personal benefits from studying martial arts myself and truly enjoy passing along some of the knowledge to others.
My body is happier, my mind is more focused, and my stress level is greatly reduced after practicing. That's what I want to impart to my students, if nothing else.
