Hello This is Bill Kreischer I am a PGA Teaching Professional at Deerfield Golf Club & Learning Center. And Pinehurst Resort during the Winters. Deerfield Golf Club & Learning Center has one of the best grass Driving Ranges on the Northshore of Chicago. I have been teaching golfers for over 35 years at some of the best Golf Schools and Golf Club across the US. I'm currently teaching private golf lessons to all ages and skill levels at Deerfield Golf Club for the 2024 Spring, Summer and Fall.

Im a senior golfer with a higher handicap. Had an hour lesson with Bill to go over my swing to help me work out some flaws and become more consistent. Bill was great to work with. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. At the beginning of the lesson Bill spent a reasonable amount of time watching my swing and making a few early observations. As the lesson progressed he took a number of videos of my swing to which he added illustrations to the video about what was right and wrong with what I was doing. We would review the videos during the lesson and go back to live hitting to incorporate any suggested changes. He also had training tools at his disposal to assist in the lesson. Bill does not try to over complicate the swing and gives you solid tips presented in a manner that is easy to comprehend. Post lesson, Bill will be sending me copies of the videos he took with commentary so I can remember what we went over. The practice facility at Deerfield Golf Course where the lesson was held is very nice. You are hitting off grass to a large target area and there is also a separate large practice area for chipping, pitching, and sand trap practice. I plan on using Bills services again and I would recommend Bill to golfers of all levels. I was a little nervous taking lessons but he put me completely at ease. I left the lesson with a few key points to work on that were definitely making a difference in the shape and consistency of my shots as the lesson progressed.

Bill was GREAT! To start off, we discussed my game, ball flight and miss hit tendencies. After watch me address the ball and take a few swings, Bill was able to make simple adjustments to my setup that had an instant positive impact! I have a few things to practice and key in on for the swing, but I was amazed by the instant results. I’m kind of kicking myself for not getting a lesson sooner!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would start by working with the student to make sure they have the basic fundamentals right. A Proper Grip, Posture, Alignment and ball position. Then we will work on getting the club face in the proper position and then match the path for the ball flight that they're looking to create. To get them to swing a effortless powerful Golf swing .

$140 for a 1 hour private golf lesson . Includes video analysis with V1 Pro and the range balls
How did you get started teaching?
My grandfather was a PGA Golf Professional for over 50 years. Originally at Onwentsia Club in Lake Forest and then over 40 years at Monroe Golf Club in Rochester NY. I've been around golf all my life.
What types of students have you worked with?
For over 35 years, I have worked and taught golf with many of the top golf schools and golf instructors in the nation. Such as John Jacobs Golf Schools, Pinehurst Resort Golf Academy, Pine Needles Youth Golfari Camps and Bob Toski Golf Academy. I work with players of all skill levels and ages.

The Masters golf tournament.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Try one lesson to see if you're going to be a good fit with your instructor. Also make sure that he has a good golf driving range & practice facility with real grass not mats. And a good 18 hole Golf course for on course playing lessons as well. Deerfield Golf Club & Learning Center has all of the above.
