I found Annie while searching for an experienced vocal coach. Annie always has an animated energy and lessons in her apartment leave me with such an upbeat attitude. I needed help brightening up my tone while singing and I have improved so much from my first lesson. Annie empowers and encourages me at each of my lessons to believe in and trust myself and my abilities as I improve in singing high notes. I was a very shy singer and I was too afraid to sing in front of others. Within a couple of months of lessons with Annie, I auditioned for musical theatre productions and Milwaukee Music Academy facilitated several opportunities to sing in front of an audience, including at Summerfest! Annie has a lot of experience in different styles of music to help her make private lessons feel very personal despite her numerous students!

Inna has been an amazing teacher ever since I started with her as a little kid. She has made learning and playing piano incredibly fascinating. Most teachers just tell their students to play music blindly, without focussing on the details; Inna has not only helped me to read music carefully but has taught me proper techniques and musical theory that has elevated my level of musicality. She really cares about the way that I emote, always spending the time with me to rigorously go over pieces, without seeming overly strict or austere. She has definitely been an artistic inspiration for me and carries with her an incredible passion for music, which has been passed down to me after all these years learning from her. Eric is a phenomenal piano teacher. Each lesson focused on making my son a well-rounded musician by splitting time between teaching technique, theory, ear training, and more. Eric challenges his students while motivating them to do their best. He keeps his students engaged throughout the lesson and gives his students a say in what they are going to learn. He is unfailingly enthusiastic and generous in sharing his vast knowledge with his students. I have had the benefit of knowing Jon for many years, and he is always ready to answer any musical question I pose. He is an invaluable musical resource and has inspired me to pursue my own musical path.

Dan is an incredibly knowledgable teacher. His experience playing on cruise ships, piano bars and loads of other gigs brings a depth to his teaching that can't be beat. Dan taught me a library of left hand patterns, and right hand riffs that make the blues so enjoyable at home. He has also helped me to translate some of his blues playing to my harp. Very exciting. He's patient, funny and has loads of stories. Highly recommended if you're an intermediate and up player.
