I found Jim to be very knowledgeable and able to put things "in my terms". As a beginner he was able to teach me how to play and read some music. He is patient yet passionate enough to push you. He's always willing to answer questions (even my most basic ones) with enthusiasm. Would definitely recommend to any level student because I've seen him play and here can jam.

Awesome Educator. I am unique since I have the privilege of having Eric Lambert teaching me guitar personally. In three years he had brought me from a guy just sitting around listing to bluegrass jams to one who has been playing in them. Eric is very friendly and a great teacher.
