Alanna has taken me and my mare from a hot mess in the best of terms to a pair looking to get their bronze medal together. I could not recommended her enough, she has this understanding with horses that makes her so knowledgeable and I don’t think I’ve seen a horse react badly with her. She preaches lightness with a steady understanding between the horse and rider. I don’t think I could have found a trainer who gets where I’m coming from as much as she does but also pushes me enough to accomplish all my goals. I’ll always be thankful to Alanna for getting me this far with plans to keep moving up!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to look at see how the horse is responding with the rider and the grasp that both have on the basics of riding. Correctness from the ground up is the best path to success and truly makes for a more pleasant ride
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typically I charge $35/ lesson, which includes travel within a reasonable distance (if on own horse) or $40 for fees associated with using a lesson horse.
