If you have taken lessons and started to play worse, I understand your frustration. I believe that changing the way you think changes the way you play. You can't learn an entire new swing in one lesson. It is important to breakdown the swing and focus on certain areas each lesson. This will help you improve each and every lesson as you move closer to reaching your goals and shooting your lowest scores. I am a V1 branded academy and will provide you with a video breakdown of your swing after each lesson to refer to as you practice the changes until we meet again for your next lesson. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A typical lesson for my students is 1 hour in length. The first 15 minutes will be me watching you hit balls, taking video of your swing and looking for key areas that are the most important to address. Over the next 30 minutes we will begin to address 1 or 2 of those areas and discuss what is the proper way and begin making small moves using repitition techniques to teach your brain the proper way. We will do repitition drills then hit balls, then repition drills, then hit balls. The last 15 minutes I will take video of your swing again and we will discuss the changes. Later that night I will send you a video of your swing and comments of what to work on over the next week.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the industry for 22 years and have worked in every aspect of the industry. I have spent the last 30 years playing this great game and turn professional 5 years ago. I am have completed the PGA program and on my final exam to obtain my Membership with the PGA of America.

I have two price points:
$90/Hour for Adults $300 for 4 Lessons & 1 Playing Lesson
$70/Hour for Juniors $250 for 4 Lessons & 1 Playing Lesson
$100 for a 9 hole Playing lesson
How did you get started teaching?
I have always loved helping people and a great communicator. After I turned professional, I began giving lessons and found that people really responded to the way I teach. It was so rewarding to see people excited after a lesson and I was hooked ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with golfers of all skill levels, age and gender. I have taught over 500+ hours of lessons for students from 4 years old to 75 years old.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is important to have a connection with the teacher. If you like it simple, you need to find a teacher that isn't to technical, but if you are very analyitical maybe having someone who believe in hitting certain numbers through the swing is a better teacher for you. Either way, find someone who you can speak freely with, that will be honest with you and is excited about helping you learn.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
It is important to be able to tell the instructor about what you are trying to do with your swing. The intructor should know what the student believes, so he can determine whether your thoughts are correct or if your swing is different for what you are believe you are doing.
