About
We focus on teaching people about the Arabian horse, its heritage and history, basic care, how to ride, and if desired will go to the show ring! We teach all levels of riders in multiple disciplines. Training horses is the biggest part of our business, from young horses all the way through older show horses!
I enjoy the whole process. Watching kids get so excited to learn new things and even go to their first show. Teaching young horses and watching them understand what I am asking is such a wonderful part of my job!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Totally based on experience of the student, we will teach the proper uses of equipment, correct grooming, how to tack up the horse, and then how to ride. We work at a pace only as fast as the student learns in an environment that keeps everyone as safe as possible. We have fantastic lesson horses for all ages.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training horses and kids since the 70s and have helped put together teams that have won many regional and national titles.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
At our farm we do mostly private lessons. 45 mins is $50. Will do shorter lessons for younger students as needed.
How did you get started teaching?
I grew up wanting horses and to train and show. So I set about making that dream a reality while still in my teens. And now years and years later I am still living that dream everyday!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from every walk of life! Adults, kids, people with disabilities, even people that just want to be around horses.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You want to make sure you find a place that is safe, working with animals always has a slight risk, but there are so many ways to decrease that!
