About

Specializing in tall golf clubs and basic instruction for tall golfers, my passion is for gold and I'm always eager to help anyone out, if any AGE, SKILL LEVEL or HEIGHT.

I love golf and love seeing people's passion for the game. I relate their experience to my own 29 years of love/aggravation/success/frustration with trying to be better and ENJOY golf more, at every level of the game. My own "selfish" motive in teaching is the joy I experience watching a friend or client quickly improve on an issue or in a way it took me years to accomplish!

Nathan has quickly built a rapport with my daughter from day one, getting her to feel comfortable with him and golf. I like his approach, started with chipping then moving to the driving range for the full swing. Nathan listens to his students, using their likes to help explain concepts. I cant wait to see how good my daughter gets working with Coach.

Nathan is very creative in finding solutions to my 15 years of bad habits and misconceptions. Nathan is very patient and quickly became that voice that reinforces the positive feeling of a great golf shot.

Frequently asked questions

Initial meeting at a convenient driving range for evaluation, and to identify the best course of action and exercises to help my golfer reach his or her goals.  My belief is that each student's meds are different, and an instructor needs to figure out how to demonstrate or explain golf fundamentals in a way that clicks with each student.  Basic gold principles need to be practiced frequently, with simple aids and drills that can be used at home when students don't have time to get to a range or course.  Such exercises give you a better chance of enjoying actual playing or practice time.  But I also feel strongly that "playing lessons", through 9 or 18 holes, are ultimately as or more beneficial for more amateurs than range lessons, because strategy, awkward or imperfect lies, course management, true alignment, and scoring are better learned on the course, rather than on the range.

Assistant golf pro at two top 50 courses in the nation, and currently own a golf club company and a golf ball company.  30 years playing experience, and countless hours in free and paid instruction through my various golf businesses, memberships, and engagement in "the golf scene"

I have no standard rate schedule.  I like to determine what a client's needs are and how to proceed before figuring a rate.  Time, travel, range expense (or lack thereof), etc are all factors that will be considered for a quoted rate.
