I have lived Golf since I was 9 yrs old. Played High School Golf, College Golf , Professional Golf and Caddied on the PGA Tour!

I work with talent I see, make a few small adjustments to work on improvement and results, knocking strokes off your scores! I can break the swing mechanics down so it is easily understandable and easy to work on. I enjoy seeing results and the Smiles and enjoyment on faces when you hit a shot like you have never done!

Vernon is an amazing coach to work with. I came to him having never swung a club, and within a few lessons with Vernon I’m impressing everyone with how well I’m able to hit the ball. He’s super knowledgeable and explains everything in a way that is really easy to understand. Plus he’s a really nice guy and a lot of fun to work with! Highly recommend!

I am receptive to the way he communicates. He instructs, coaches and motivates. He is working with my swing and not trying to change me. In my opinion, that is why I am saw results so quickly. I dropped form a 3.6 to a .9 index in the 6 weeks weve been working together.

I take notes after each session, work on the drills he shows me and do my best to make sure that we are not wasting each others time by working on my swing between sessions so we are not hashing out the same old deficiencies . He is prompt and works with me until Im flat wore out. Coach was a great find and I look forward to him being a part of my golf program for the foreseeable future.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

That depends on the level of Golfer they are when we start! We first discuss what the Student knows about the Game, how many times they have played, Eticet , what their level of Athletic ability is, do their clubs fit them.

We start with the short game and work our way up to the Driver!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Played College and Pro Golf and Caddied on the PGA Tour!

How did you get started teaching?

All the Guys and Gals at the Country Club came to me for lessons instead of the Pro!

Look for someone that takes what talent you have and directing that into positive improvement.

A realistic goal of improvement that will give you some easy things to work on everyday!
