I recently moved back from Europe, having lived there for the past 20+ years and working with the United Nations. I am fluent in Italian, French and Portuguese and am bilingual Spanish-English (I am both Spanish and Dominican). I used all of these languages in my work for many years.
I am now teaching at Newton public schools, and at various academic institutions, at university level.

I have been speaking, reading, and writing in French for over a decade, and am considered fluent in the language despite being a native English speaker and an American.
