I decided to take acting lessons with Debra, not to become an actor, but to improve my overall English communication skills, networking skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, business communication skills and my interviewing skills. I really didn’t know the true potential of my voice until I started taking lessons at Bristol. There is a great deal to be learned in these lessons, and if you work at it results come pretty quickly. The classes are super fun and the teachers are knowledgeable, confident and very helpful. Definitely worth checking out even if you just like to sing for fun.

She gives a lot of praise for the progress that has been made, and I feel it's genuine. Although I make mistakes, it's not a big deal, she just tells me to try again. She can be a little stern but will often joke about it. I believe her style of teaching is probably the way she was taught. it's been really fun, though. I learned 5 simple songs, so I am satisfied. I look forward to the next "semester" to learn chords and how to write my own music!
