About

Although I am not a certified instructor, I have sat in on so many lessons to understand the swing. I instruct many beginners and advanced players. My strength is knowing the basics and easily relaying that to students. I have a keen eye for what advanced players could be doing wrong and can easily fix it. I'm a 4 handicap and at age 60, I can still hit my driver over 300. I also have a solid short game mind and game. I have instructed my 14 year old son from day one and he is a1 handicap. To players of all abilities, if you have the shanks, I can easily fix it.

I love golf and I love how I can teach the basics to a beginner without confusing them. After giving so much free advice, I might as well earn from my knowledge.

Access their ability level and physical abilities then work from there.  Make them feel relaxed and make sure their lesson is a fun lesson.

I don't have any certifications but I have gotten down as low as a 3 handicap mostly on my own.  I have instructed my 3 boys from day one and here are the results.  One of my 12 year olds twins doesn't take golf too seriously but he has advanced once to the sub regionals on the Drive, Chip & Putt.  My other twin has advanced to the regionals at Winged Foot of the Drive, Chip & Putt.  My 14 year old is one of the better teens in the state and carries a 1 handicap.  I believe he will be a plus handicap this year.  He has also advanced to the regionals at Winged Foot in the Drive, Chip & Putt. As a freshman on the St John's Prep varsity golf team, he was a key player in their undefeated league record.  He was the only freshman invited to the individual state championships where he finished 39th out of 115 players.  All 3 boys have won many junior club championships including father son championships too.  My knowledge of physical fitness also is a benefit you will receive when it relates to distance and avoiding injuries.

$60 an hour plus you purchase the range balls.  If you become a regular student then we can negotiate a proper price.

I fell in love with the game 30 years ago and started reading EVERYTHING about golf instruction.  As a youth basketball coach for many years, I have a good style of relating to my students.

All ages and levels from 5 year old beginners to 70 year old accomplished players who need some minor tweaks.

Watching a D1 women's college golf team all stop their practicing to what my beat student (my son) hit balls.

Make sure the instructor can back up his/her claims.
