e not Maria because a change in my circumstances is taking me out of my location. I want to review Foreman Equestrian Arts as Maria responded quickly to my request for info on their program. Her information was detailed and aimed at my specific situation. I would definitely be signing up if I was staying in the area. It sounds like she is a knowledge and caring instructor whom I would love to work with and learn from.
Marla is an excellent teacher. She is an astute observer of both her human and equine students, and makes wise choices about what each of us needs to work on at every moment given where we are mentally and physically. In our lessons, I feel challenged, but never overwhelmed. I am particularly grateful for Marla’s kind and compassionate attitude. It is so much easier to learn without worrying about being yelled at.
We would talk over the phone before the lesson to find out the background of the new student so that I can plan the best approach for the student get the most out of the lesson in both fun and learning.
I have been working with horses for more than 50 years and teaching riding for more than 40 years. I have learned from many excellent instructors in both teaching and riding and am always trying to continually improve as a teacher.
