I heard Perlman’s playing of Beethoven violin concerto and Miles Davis’ jazz solo on So What today, I want to be able to do both! 1) Play the violin 2) Know the music 3) Emulate the giants 4) Express yourself Every style of music has its learning curve, I help students building solid violin performance skills, which is the key to access creativity(ultimately, it becomes part of your voice). After, with an efficient system of musicality training (Music Theory, Ear Training, History Knowledge...etc), students would be able to play different styles depending on their desire (Classical, Jazz, World, Old Time...etc), in the end be able to fully ex...

Ann G. says, "I give Paresh a 5 star, I couldn't change it on top. Paresh was friendly and approachable when I first met him. I had to present in front of him and someone else and I was very nervous. He taught me the most important thing is to be organized and everything else flows and that worked well for me. He taught me the do's and don'ts during interviews. He never put me down even when he recognized my struggles. He was available and helped meet my dead line. I feel confident enough and I look forward to doing more public speaking. Paresh was professional and made me comfortable. I will definitely take another class with in the future and I strongly recommend him. " Read more

I have been a professional union actor for more than 30 years. I have extensive credits in theater, film, television, commercials, and improvisation. I have done just about everything having to do with acting. And I have the skills as a teacher to pass on what I've learned to interested, motivated students. Acting is something that brings me incredible joy. Yes, sometimes there are nerves as well. But, that makes it even more thrilling. I love doing live theater. I enjoy the immediacy of an audience; they become participants in the process. I adore improvisation, because it adds a level of difficulty to that immediacy of a live audience. You...

Gergana H. says, "“The workshop was very well conceived and organized, a perfect balance between the creativity and technicality. What I liked the most was that Alper explained very well his songwriting techniques - from having an inspiration and coming up with a song structure, to transferring this inspiration into musical ideas and achieving certain sound. The workshop was very interactive, all questions were answered thoughtfully, in details, and with fluency using Ableton. " Read more

Reviews for Quincy songwriting classes

Recent success stories from people in the Quincy area.

Varis taught both of my boys piano (first instrument) and then continued to teach one of my sons guitar. He instilled a love for music which has had a lasting effect. He's a talented musician himself which was inspiring for my sons. He's also super accessible and works with each student based on their music interests and skills/needs for development. Having the lessons at home was extremely convenient given our hectic schedules, and Varis was always super flexible if we needed to make a scheduling shift. My only "constructive criticism" is that with only half an hour for a lesson, I wish more time was spent on things that couldn't be done without Varis there (i.e. warming up, looking up online resources, etc.) Overall very happy!

I really didn’t know the true potential of my voice until I started taking lessons at Bristol. There is a great deal to be learned in these lessons, and if you work at it results come pretty quickly. The classes are super fun and the teachers are knowledgeable, confident and very helpful. Definitely worth checking out even if you just like to sing for fun.

Brayden is a very patient and kind teacher. He has a wealth of knowledge and passion for music from years of experience and study. He’s great at building confidence and keeping lessons fun and engaging. He's taught me the basics of guitar and knows how to keep students motivated and challenged. I am off to a great start thanks to his help. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
