We are a different kind of facility in that we teach Natural Horsemanship in the Traditon of the Vaquero. Our approach to horsemanship is one of respect for the horse and training ourselves to think like a horse.
Like many girls, I was smitten with horses at a young age. I began taking lessons when I was 10 years old and owned a horse as a teenager. The “horse bug” never left me even after I got married and moved to Texas. For three years in Fort Worth, Texas I trained under Charles Osborne who was directly trained under Nuno Oliveira. From him I learned the principles of Classical Dressage and improved my riding ability. Upon arriving back ‘home” to Boston, I began my training under Bob Burrelli, Sr. My years with Bob opened up a whole new world of understanding the horse. He not only continued teaching me Classical Horsemanship but also introduced her to Natural Horsemanship and all that it involves. Since beginning her training with Bob she has earned her Instructors license through the state of Massachusetts and now owns, with her husband, the Double B Ranch. She also works as the Equine Division Coordinator for America's Hometown Parade in Plymouth, MA.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start by learning the correct way to use a rope halter. The training begins as soon !as the halter is in place!
After learning how to put on a saddle correctly we then do some groundwork to warm up the horse. Learning ground work is vital for horse and student.
Next is riding using the principle of Classical Dressage to guide us.
Some lessons may be all ground work and some may be all riding. I try to mix it up and keep things interesting!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50 a lesson. The typical lesson is 1 hour or a little more depending on how the student is and what we are doing.
How did you get started teaching?
I always enjoyd sharing my love of animals. Teaching is a natural outgrowth of my love or horses.
What types of students have you worked with?
My students range in age from 7-75 years old!
