Jane is an outstanding Dressage trainer. She has really helped me with my equitation. She gets to know you and pushes you to do your best. She finds ways to help you understand things better and shes a great person. Highly recommend!

They have a variety of beautiful horses that receive exceptional care, and the grounds are clean and beautiful, framed in Jane’s gorgeous flower gardens. A satisfying experience in every way.

I initially rode with Jane as a child when I was first learning to ride. We reconnected a few years ago when I needed help with training my young Thoroughbred who was developing a number of behavioral problems under saddle. Jane was happy to help and within a few months of taking lessons, Ronan and I saw a huge improvement in our riding and partnership. I’ve continued taking lessons, usually on my horse but also on some of the lesson horses at Emerald J, and cannot say enough good things about my experience. Jane is professional, punctual, and puts rider and horse safety first. She is the perfect combination of cheerleader and drill instructor and my riding has improved dramatically. Her horses are all well mannered and can adapt to a wide range of rider ability as needed. While the barn may not be as fancy as some I have ridden at, the quality of instruction is unsurpassed and the overall “team” atmosphere makes it the perfect place for me to continue to grow as a rider. I cannot recommend the Emerald J Equestrian Center enough!

Jane is a very knowledgable horsewoman, who quickly understands the rider’s strengths and limitations. Her lessons are always done in a positive manner. She will help the horse/rider duo get to the root of any problem as rhey arise, while making riding such a fun adventure!

I absolutely love taking lessons with Jane at the Emerald J Equestion Center!!! Lessons with Jane are not only fun but they are also informative. She teaches you about the biomechanics of riding and gives you confidence! :) it’s an amazing barn with beautiful horses, and wonderful people of all ages! :)
