What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know the rider and the horse first. Find out what the goals are and make a plan accordingly.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in the Finnish riding school system. The school that I was teaching in sent me to The Riding Instructor Scool of Finnish Riding Federation. From there on I have kept on studying to stay current.
Being instructor I take continuing education to keep my instructor license.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students on any level.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
