Golf professional for over 30 yrs. Started the Jr.Golf program at Prospect Bay CC on the Eastern Shore. Due to the success of the program, Chartwell CC requested my consultation in starting up their Jr.Golf program. Not only adapt in teaching kids, but taught my daughter where she played golf in college on the women's golf team. Jr's, ladies, beginner's, and advanced players have received instruction over the years. Main thing, is I make it fun for the student to learn.
I love seeing the smile on a student's face when they hit a shot they've never hit before. :) I'm a people person, and have built many friendships through teaching. I just enjoy making other's happy.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I'll evaluate the students current skill level, beginner, recreational player, tournament player, then work on the fundamentals of grip, aim, and posture, then get into the swing. I don't change the students swing, just to change a swing. I want him to understand the physics of ball flight, and why the ball does what it does. I feel I can make any player at any level enjoy the game even more. I want to always make sure more than anything, the student has fun during our time together.
