Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students will be asked about their golf history as well as any personal physical limitations that they might have. I will also ask about what it is they wish to work on. I usually ask them to send me a video of their swing from the two different view points in order to get a pre-assessment of their swing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in golf course management, during which I studied a number of courses related to teaching the golf swing and various parts of the game to players. I am a PGA Apprentice and I am always continuing my education to better help my students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My typical lesson pricing is as follows.
1/2 hour lesson: $25
45 minute lesson: $35
1 hour lesson: $45
Playing Lessons: vary based on course and #of holes
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching during my last semsester of college during my advanced teaching class. I have always enjoyed teaching others and I've continued teaching to this day.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of students, however the majority of my students have been juniors. I enjoy students who are serious about wanting to improve and are willing to try new things.
