About
As the owner of the farm I hold a Masters degree in education. Drawing on that information as well as over 40 years of riding experience, I have developed a structured curriculum which is the basis of our weekly lesson plans. We offer 6 different levels from our Little Nicker's program through Advanced.
Our 8 week sessions are developed to promote an appropriate progression of skills. Students can follow their progress online in their portal.
Many of the horses have been teaching riders for over 10 years. Our horses can accommodate riders with no experience up through advanced levels.
Our registration process is easy. Visit nickersretreat.com and visit the lessons page. The descriptions of the class levels are listed to help students choose the appropriate class. Once you find the class level and time that fit, just click register and enter your information!
I have a passion for teaching and horses! With more then 15 years in business, I still enjoy helping students achieve their goals. I have several students who entered my program as young riders and progressed to become successful college competitors!
