About
I am a teacher and a healer and transformational coaching is how I support others to heal and to grow. I approach clients with compassion and curiosity. Seeing life as an integrated whole, my work is to partner with you in bringing all the parts of yours into alignment. Trained as a Spiritual Life Coach and in Health and Wellness Coaching, it brings me joy when clients begin to connect with their four levels of being--spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical--and use that connection to transform their life experience. Coaching is a conversation, and we will use that conversation to uncover answers and actions to jump start the movement into your desires.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is to have a 15-20 minute introductory call where we discuss what coaching is and what coaching isn't, clients can get answers for any preliminary questions they may have, and we set up the schedule of sessions. This intro call is not counted against the sessions.
The next step is to sign the Coaching Agreement and for clients to fill out the Coaching Questionnaire. This questionnaire serves as an intake form, allowing me to learn about them, and will guide our first session, the Discovery Session.
Please allot up to an hour and a half for your initial session, the Discovery Session. After that, sessions generally run 40-50 minutes.

How did you get started teaching?
I've been involved in the helping professions since completing undergrad. I worked in the social services field for over 10 years. That is where I was first exposed to coaching and was absolutely fascinated by it. I loved that is was solution-focused and client-driven. Fast forward some years and I came across the Inner Visions Institute and dove into the concepts of Spiritual Life Coaching. A few years later I enrolled in the Health and Wellness Coaching program at MUIH. People, Spirituality, Coaching, and Wellness are all passions of mine. I am blessed and privileged to be able to combine them in work that supports others in their personal development.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have clients from all walks of life. I've worked with single mothers looking to manage stress; business persons looking to devote time to their passion; helping professionals in need of support for their own wellness; at-risk individuals working to get their life on track; accomplished leaders needing to make time for their personal goals. The common thread in my clients is that they desire support in transforming their lives by addressing areas in which they desire change. The challenge we all face is mastery. How do we master our lives? Mastery is not about perfection. It is about being consciously aware, making conscious choices, and taking conscious action towards our personal highest good.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The work I am most proud of right now is providing coaching as a wraparound service for a community-based reentry program that teaches entrepreneurship and serves as a business incubator.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Coaching is like any other one-to-one relationship. A rapport has to be developed and the ability to interact in an affirming and constructive manner. As the coaching relationship develops, a client should have no doubt that they are held in the highest positive regard and that their coach believes in them and their capacity for change.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Here are some questions you might ask yourself when looking to partner with a coach: 1. Are you feeling stuck or finding it hard to shift something? 2. Do you know what you really want and have not been able to move on it? 3. Are you ready to admit the truth to yourself? 4. Are you ready to hear the truth? 5. Are you ready for forward movement?
