About this pro

I work very closely with my clients unlike those that try to handle all facets, I believe in working together to bring out the best in my clients. Nutrition, life skills, and training make a person successful without balance in life you can't have balance with your health. I speak from personal testimony. Being obese (250pds), with cholesterol, diabetes, and high blood pressure, doctors don't want to tell you to "Get off your butt and do something"; they want to mask what is truly is wrong with medication. I fired my doctors and never looked back. I did it on my own but you don't have to. All this goes for all the facets of your life. I am here to tell you can reverse many illnesses without medication. The body is made to heal and it can heal itself if you do the right thing.

I love to meet new people. Getting to know those outside of our working norm is a treat for us.

I enjoy seeing the results that my clients received and knowing that eventually they will graduate and maintain what I have taught them.

When my clients get it, they really get it and that makes my day because I know when the time comes for them to move on, they will take what they know and apply it in their daily routines.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I will sit down and talk about what to expect with each session. I want to know what they know about nutrition. Western medicine and google have ruined nutrition and how people think about it. I have a little quiz to see what they know about nutrition and teach them what is true and what is false.

I also want to see about any stressors in their life, support system, and if people and things play a factor in how they have treated their health in the past.

We also talk about health issues that may require a doctor's note. The reason why I would do this is that I want to make sure they have a support system and doctors in line for their support and overall health. Nutrition is just one facet of a proper running body.

1. Teaching them how to shop and read labels

2. Letting them know they are not confined to the cookie-cut diet most people give.

3. Come to the realization that this is a life habit and not for the moment

4. Incorporate exercise for just overall cardiac health.

5. Relieving cortisol levels, and other stress factors that prevent weight loss and proper nutrition.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are certified through ISSA and CPR certified.  I have over 10 years of experience in nutrition. Tony has over 20 years of experience and is a bodybuilder competitor as well.

How did you get started teaching?

I was first an overweight person with health issues of my own. Doctors didn't want to help me or even attempt to try to give an alternative way besides medication. I decided to take matters into my own hands. I fired my doctor and took myself off of medications (I wouldn't recommend that to anyone). At the time I weigh 280pds with diabetes, cholesterol and the was the doctor was going to put me on medication just in case I had a heart attack. I was on two different types of insulin, cholesterol medication and soon to be on a statin. Now I want to show others that many illnesses can be reversed but it all about the mindset of the individual and their willingness to get rid of their disease.

What types of students have you worked with?

We have worked with obese, those with limited mobility, and athletes,

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

We are fond of the virtual challenges since the Pandemic.

We love the Olympics because it requires a lot of discipline and focuses to be on such a high level of skill.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

A student has to realize most people are in it for the money and also never had a life experience that would even qualify as a Personal Trainer or Nutritionist. Look for those that mirror what you want.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

How long have they been in business?

Are they willing to work with you over the phone?

Is this something you practice in your own life?

What does your day typically consist of?

Why did you become a Personal Trainer or Nutritionist? Saying I want to help isn't the answer.
