About
My program stands out because I treat each rider and horse as an individual. I form plans and goals to work towards. I like to challenge, but not over face both horse and rider accordingly. I have a strong base of flatwork and basics. I teach my riders correct horsemanship both on and off of the horse, all while still having fun!
I enjoy seeing both horse and rider come together as well as reaching their goals. I have many riders who have started with me with goals of just having fun and being able to ride. I try to build on those goals and encourage them further. I love going to competitions (horse shows), but I have students who do not show and just enjoy learning at home. I love to teach as well as learn from my students.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process is jumping right in! I like for new students to come and meet our horses and see the barn. I usually go right ahead and set up a lesson and get right to it. We have a strong foundation to teach both horse and rider correctly, as well as safely. My number one priority is safety and fun. I teach all levels and ages as well as students who don't want to compete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been horse showing for 10 years. I have worked with many top trainers including Olympians who were very complimentary of my skill on and off of the horse. I have ridden hunters, jumpers, and equitation horses ranging in experience and age. I grew up riding many Thoroughbreds and green horses so I am very experienced with that area. I turned Professional right out of my Junior career, but I have been giving lessons for a number of years now.
