What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I am starting with a new student, I try to get a general background with their horse experience. If they're riding their own horse, I observe is there a horsemanship skills on the ground, and watch them warm their horse up. If they're riding one of my lesson horses, I try to match them to one that will be a safe introduction to their riding abilities, and my teaching techniques.
