MCG Golf Academy

I was born in Texas and raised in Waterford, Michigan just outside of Detroit. Since starting with MCG Golf in 2003, I've held numerous positions. I'm currently the Head Professional at Falls Road and the Director of Instruction for the MCG Golf Academy. I've been a member of the PGA of America since 1996, a US Kids Golf Certified Instructor, and a Titleist Certified Fitter. I was awarded the 2015 Mid Atlantic PGA Player Development Professional of the Year.

I've taught over 10,000 private lessons since starting with MCG Golf plus teach many clinics and junior camps. I use JC Video with all my students at Falls Road and I've added Flightscope to my arsenal to give my students all the information needed for lessons or equipment needs. I'll work with all golfers of any level and create time in my schedule to provide lessons to anyone interested in improving their game. To this day, I believe that the instructional aspect of my profession is an important way to continue growing the game of golf and staying true to the reason I became a PGA Professional.

I create a detailed plan for each student that allows them a clear understanding of what it takes to reach their goals. With this plan, students can track progress and begin to see the improvements. I understand that score is not the only aspect of golf that people use to calculate enjoyment, and will work individually with each of my students to achieve their own personal goals. I aim to help you accomplish whatever golfing goals you desire. I especially enjoy developing a short game strategy with all of my students, a way for them to understand the shot type, technique and execution for each shot around the green, eliminating wasted shots.
