Karen provides a very positive learning atmosphere based on the principles of classical riding. She is structured and detailed and follows the guidelines of the 6 elements of The Training Scale .
She supports strengths and recognizes weaknesses, and can correct mistakes appropriately and enables me to make progress. Karen works with all breeds and levels of riders and appreciates the unique individuality of each horse/rider. Karen has a great attitude and makes learning fun and rewarding! I highly recommend her.

Karen Kissler teaches high quality riding in a clear and calm manner. We bounced around from barn to barn before landing here because I was dissatisfied with safety precautions and the knowledge of other instructors. Here, Karen guides you to the best practices for your own safety and for the safety of her horses but somehow without being overbearing. We are very happy here!

I started teaching by accident! Back in the 90's, at a barn where I boarded, other boarders would ask me to school their horses. Soon, the boarders started asking me to teach them. I found it very rewarding to teach a student to ride well and see the horse much happier for it.

I work with students that are new to riding as well as students that have been riding a lifetime.
