I have a niche for finding ailments and work on a path of correction in which the customer can practice on their own. I l love teaching and seeing the end product!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a past PGA Professional and have given thousands of lessons over my career. I was also the head teaching professional at a private club, once upon a time. I miss teaching and coaching the greatest game of all.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typcially I have two pricing structures:
1/2 hour $50
1 hour $75
Series of 4-1/2 hours $150
Series of 4-1 hours $200
How did you get started teaching?
I started working at a golf course in 7th grade. I became engulfed in the business, the people, the office....I worked my way up through the ranks and ended up being a GM, Teaching Professional and Head Golf Professional. I'll never forgot my first lesson....she still talks about it today, 25 years ago.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you aren't going to practice what you learn, don't waste your money.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Be honest, think about what hinders you the most.
