I charge by the contents of the students. Beginners are one way starting with the physical basics. Intermediate students I find and fix what need attention to and add what's needed for better ball sticking. Top amateurs and Pros find blind areas and get them better. Big improvements and better ball sticking thus lower scoring on course.
