Boulder Pointe Golf Club
About
I have worked with players of all skill levels for over 20 years now. I focus on allowing the student to learn what they need to do to help their natural ability come through. I am not a instructor who pushes one type of swing. I have found that this does not necesaarily help the student in the long run.
I love seeing people enjoy the game more. If I can be a small part of that than I am fulfilled my mission.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start at the beginning to gain the students current knowledge of the swing and their equipment. You would be surprised at how many people improve just by understanding their equipment and how the body needs to move to produce a quality golf shot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Class A PGA Professional. I have taught golf for 20 years now. I started teaching juniors when is was 16 years old. I have had the benefit of working with PGA Tour Professionals, new players who are yet to touch a club and all the player abilities in between.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $40 per 30 minute lesson. If you buy a 5 lesson package, you get one lesson free ($160)
During the winter months I am able to give winter lessons. Please contact me for pricing and availability.
How did you get started teaching?
I started helping out at Junior camps when I was 16 years old.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the teacher you work with takes time to understand how you learn as an individual. It is our job as instructors to make sure you completely understand what we are working on and why it is benefical.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do you have any injurys that would prevent you from swinging the club in a certain way? What are your strengths as golfer and weaknesses as a golfer? Are you expectations in line with the amount of time you have to practice?
