My name is Professor Jay C Burns, a Detroit U. S. citizen. Teaching music, theater and drama has been my passion. My style of teaching is caring with discipline and fun. Providing for the student an optimistic atmosphere with emphasis on learning the basic fundamentals with room for creative expression. My goal is to make sure that the student learns his/her instrument or drama techniques to express the gifts that may be dormant in you. All the time having fun and enjoying the class

Forst of all, I am a perfectionist, I am setting very high goals and I love my students. My experience is another proof that stands out. I have been teaching in South Carolina, Romania and for 13 years in Michigan. I believe in the progress of each child and in the possibility to improve the kids' knowledge. I believe that there are methods for all levels and all kinds of knowledge and subjects. Teaching is the air I breathe. I love children and I am happy to help each of them and anytime. I also like to improve my students' knowledge, to help them to set goals and also to build for a bright future.
