Played in several U.S. Amateur Championships, British Amateur, National Publinx Championships.  Won local and state golf championships.

I make learning the golf swing enjoyable, not a chore.  I use Video Analysis with my lessons to assist students in the learning process. Specific golf drills are given each lesson that reinforce what was discussed and shown during the lesson to help the student build a sound golf swing.

I truly enjoy the students as they get that aha moment when the learning really hits home.  Having a job where you get to see the student improve  right before your eyes is really cool as well.  It is tremendously satisfying knowing that the thousands and thousands of hours that I have put in view golf swings enables students to reach their golf goals.

Kevin is a great teacher. Analyzes your swing with video and helps identify/fix your flaws. Shot my lowest round ever after working with Kevin and overall my game is much more consistent.

Where do I start. Kevin is Awesome at not only the knowing of the ins and outts of golf but teaching both aswell. When I came to him 12 lessons ago I thought 3 lessons and I'm done. Well I'll tell ya you see so much improvement in your game after the 2nd and 3rd lesson that you realize and crave even more knowledge. The experience and teaching he shows is Grade A 1. I was roughly a triple boggie golfer around 115 to 120 for 18 holes and 55 to 60 for 9 holes. I noticed after around 3 to 5 lessons my score shaved about 7 to 10 stokes off past scores. By my 10th session I can confidently go out and shoot boggie golf 8 to 11 over. I've now played 11 rounds this year so far. I'm scoring truthfully at 40 to 47 on 36par and 85 to 95 on 72 par. My handicap is now 16.9 on a 72 par course 18 holes. I am beyond pleased w the results. And I know I will be back with Kevin for chipping and putting lessons. My new goal is no to shoot par. Thank you kevin for your time, understanding and patience. See ya soon Charles Witt

Kevin is amazing! I’m not a great golfer but he is really changing my abilities-a miracle lol. He is a great people person and knows how to approach each client. My husband is also working with Kevin and he is a much more accomplished golfer, and Kevin is improving his game as well. Definitely worth it!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

After the student has warned up, I Video their swing so we have a baseline of where the student started.  After a quick review of their swing I formulate a lesson plan. I work with the student to set a few goals and based on that, we work on the area of the students swing that will bring the student the biggest benefit.

I have worked with players of all levels, from those just beginning the game, all the way to professionals and every step between.  I truly enjoy working with players of all skill levels and enjoy my job.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I recently started teaching a gentleman who just turned 70 and wanted to learn the game of golf.  It was an awesome experience and I felt lucky that I was able to be a part of teaching him a game that truly lasts a lifetime.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

1.  Make sure your instructor has a sound understanding of the fundamentals of the golf swing.

2.  An instructor with a competitive golf background also brings the benefit of years of tournament experience and shot making expertise that definitely benefits the student.

3.  I meet those criteria and so much more.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Students should think about what they would like to achieve from their lessons.

Ask the instructor about their teaching  Philosophy.
