Kevin Janssen Golf Lessons
About
I am extremely passionate about the game of golf and all of the valuable lessons it teaches us. I am committed to teaching the basic fundamentals of golf especially to beginners. With the right instruction, golfing can be exciting and fun. My first experience in teaching golf was in Northfield MN through the community recreation program and have continued in teaching others on their terms.
I especially love to see the improvements in my students. Golf takes a lifetime to master and the journey is the most rewarding part.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I really get to know the students background and make sure I understand what the their goals. This way we can work on the improvements that they most desire. It is always about the student and their goals!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played golf since I was 13 years old. I have played high school golf, caddied, and attended many golf clinics.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Standard golf rates are $40/lesson which typically lasts 1hr. I can also do 2 people per lesson at $70/lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching golf lessons for the community recreation program in Northfield MN.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all different types of students including children, beginners, and intermediate levels.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would strongly recommend they hire an instructor that focuses on their needs and desires. There is no 1 swing that fits all people. The fundamentals don't change but how you swing the club is going to be unique. You will know after the first lesson if you have found the right instructor because you should see improvements immediately.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
You really should know what your goals are. Do you plan on playing in serious competitions or just want to be comfortable in playing with friends.
