Our instructors here at Harvest Hill Farm have over 20 years of experience training horses & riders. We specialize in training new riders to advance levels, Setting from six years of age and up. Our trainers are passionate about making writing fun and safe while working towards any goals you desire to achieve.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
we start all new students in a one hour private lesson. This one on one experience allows us to assess new riders ability and make recommendations where they will be best suited in our program.
some riders need the benefits of private lessons while starting out. Others with previous experience can move right into our group lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instructors have years of experience working with horses and showing along with years of experience teaching students
What types of students have you worked with?
Our instructors work with all types of students children through adults.
we range from someone who has never touched a horse to riders that have shown through National levels
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Try to take at least one lesson. Each barn has its own culture. Each instructor has there unique way of teaching. The easiest way to find the best fit is to trial lesson. If this is not possible try speaking to somebody on the phone most people can get a good sense of instructor by speaking to them
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your goals? Are you looking for a program to prepare you for Horse shows or are you looking for something fun and do not want to Horse show. Most Barns are geared for one thing or the other.
