About
Previous member of the PGA and Illinois PGA Section as an Assistant Professional. Was part of the first graduating class of the GPTP (Golfer's Professional Training Program) administered by the PGA of America in the early 1990's. Participated in the "Train the Trainer" program as part of the GPTP working with several of Golf Digest's Top 100 teachers. Passionate about the game, equipment and the preservation of the sport. My teaching philosophy begins with "GASP" which is grip, alignment, stance and posture. Most improvements can be made by evaluating what you have and employing the basic concepts necessary to allow a repeatable approach toward each shot. Whether beginner or advanced we are always a "Work In Progress". I enjoy supporting the improvement and growth of someone's game and the love of the game in general.
Watching the excitement when someone learns something new.
