Kirk Kees assisted in opening up the PGA West DLGA ( David Leadbetter Golf Academy) teaching facility in La Quinta, CA. Kirk was also Head Instructor in Santa Barbara, CA, instructing at the DLGA Junior Camp at UCSB and also escaping La Quinta’s summer heat to teach at a DLGA golf school location in Chicago, IL. Kirk also has taught at numerous corporate outings at Pebble Beach in Carmel, CA for investment firm Smith Barney teaching there Fortune 500 customers and CEO’s of companies like Viacom. Learning his teaching skills, as well as speaking and presentation ability from the likes of Adam Schriber, Mike Wilson, Chris Walkey and Mitchell Spearman as well as Robert Baker. Ken is a PGA Master Professional who spent 31 years as general manager and director of golf at Colonial Country Club in Jackson and is one of the most respected rules officials in golf. He also went on to lead more than 100 PGA Business Schools and 35 USGA/PGA Rules of Golf seminars. Lindsay served as captain of two victorious PGA of America-sanctioned teams – the 2000 U.S. PGA Cup Team at the Celtic Manor in Newport, Wales, and the record-setting 2008 American Junior Ryder Cup Team that routed Europe, 22-2. Lindsay became certified in Rules that year and went on to work 31 PGA Championships, 32 Senior PGA Championships, 12 Ryder Cups, 12 Masters, 12 U.S. Open Championships and 10 Open Championships. Kirk went on taking and passing the Players Ability Test (PAT) the allowed him into the PGA program. Kirk trained and took lessons under Hank Haney in Dallas and then Senior Instructor Peter Murphy. Kirk is currently teaching at Nevada Bob’s Golf Shop in Jackson Mississippi with the Trackman sonar system and the ability to custom fit people and get whatever they need and as well as the driving range in Florence Mississippi called the Meadows.
