Hi! I' m Curt, I've been doing music for 26 years, with a strong focus on the Bass Guitar, but also Acoustic and Electric Guitar, as well as Voice, Upright String Bass, and others. I have educated kids, teens, and adults instrumentally, and led bands, as a member and as a director. I have worked as a Musical Worship leader in churches, played in Rock, Funk, Folk, and Jam bands, write songs, and have worked in recording studio situations. Hello there! My name is Colin McGuire. I have been playing guitar for the past 25 years. One of the great things about my experience is that I have played all kinds of music over my career. From Jazz and Rock to acoustic singer songwriter styles, nothing is out of reach! I also had a career as a high school physics teacher for a decade so I bring a solid foundation in teaching strategies paired with my love of music. I emphasize learning through your favorite music and mixing in the skills within that framework. I have experience playing as a studio musician for rappers in NYC and fronting a rock band in Pittsburgh and most things in between.

Notasium has a separate area where young kids can take classes with a more focused musical curriculum and private lessons when they’re ready to learn an instrument all the way up to advanced levels. Whatever the age or ability, NotasiumTM has something fun and musical for your child. Every couple of months, students are encouraged to perform on the Notasium stage for friends and family to show the progress they have made!
