Sandra brings 42 years of experience in training and teaching in many different disciplines. 20 of those years in the study of Classical Dressage with Riding Master Frank Grelo, and the multiple WE National Champion Carlos Carneiro.

Sandra works with all ages and levels. Using the principles of Classical Horsemanship, she specializes in helping people of all equine sports to better their riding, enhance the athletic abilities of their horses, and reach their personal goals.

I love working with the horses and riders as they are learning the joy in the harmony created between them and their horses.

Sandra taught me so much in my time with her. Not only about horses, but life lessons and amazing advice from her own experiences. She helped me find three horses that were a perfect fit to my personality and the level I wanted to reach to. During those moments she helped me understand what to look for in a horses confirmation and if the horse was mentally stable to take on what I wanted to do or not. Sandra was always there to help me, a fourteen year old girl at the time, take a very green horse of nine to Level One Dressage and beyond. She was and has always been there for me when I needed anything and has treated me as one if her own. Sandra is someone I could come to for laughs, lessons, and amazing adventures. She has taught people of all ages and riding styles. Such as English, Western, Dressage, Jumping and more. Sandra always wanted us to learn and succeed no matter what, she finds it important to try knew things and step out if our comfort zone. Sandra will even take us to cliniques and encourage us to compete in many shows so we can take in as much information about how to be a better rider and caretaker to our horses. She is always eager to learn herself while taking those moments to share it with us. 99% of what I know all comes from my experience at being a riding student from Sandra and I am so happy to have been taught by her for as long as I have, and her advice will always be with me in the future.

I met Sandra many years ago when my kids joined Pony Club, they were able to learn quickly and efficiently while also learning the importance of team work and dedication. We really liked her casual teaching style and her leadership. She is always willing to help, give advice, and even offer her house to her students as a safe and inviting area that they could call a second home. She would also come to horse shows and help us understand the dos and donts, while so happy to support every moment my kids competed. We spent the past 10 years taking lessons from her and we are forever thankful for all she has done. Sandra is a wealth of knowledge and very enthusiastic to share it with others. We really miss having her near us but we know she will do such great things in South Carolina and make so many children there incredibly comfortable in and out the saddle.
