About
I’ve gained the passion for fitness about 9 years ago. I’ve always been into sports (baseball and basketball) but really didn’t like to strength train I guess I thought I was talented enough not to train (was I wrong). After a couple of years of training myself and gaining knowledge of the fitness world I decided to become certified to help others with their fitness journey/goals.
I’m certified in both NASM/ACE. I have 9 years of personal training experience. If there is one thing more fulfilling to me than reaching my own personal goals, it’s helping someone else reach one of their own. It’s rewarding, to be able to not only show someone that it’s important living a healthier lifestyle but educate them at the same time. Many of my clients have dealt with several underlying health issues ie....cancer, obesity, asthma/bronchitis, diabetic and countless injuries. Coaching them through it all, being able to help come off medications prescribed by primary physicians, gain mobility in injured body parts, and just living a more fruitful life is a priceless experience/feeling. I make a promise to my clients to help them find a starting point and build on their path to success whatever that may look like for them.
I’ve recently received my pro card to become a professional bodybuilder. Going through that process was another challenge for myself in the fitness world. I wanted to do something that will not only challenge my body but also my mind. One thing that it’s allowed me to do is be more in tune with my own journey even after 10 years of training. Our bodies changes all the time so why not stay in tune with it.
I would love to work with you to help you live a healthier and more fruitful lifestyle.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new client I first invite them in for a 1:1 consultation. We discuss their goals and determine if what I offer is a great fit for their journey. In the next steps during our first session I conduct a fitness evaluation, we can’t get to our goals if we don’t know and understand where we are currently. Also I demonstrate the proper way to active stretch and explain the importance of it which is to prevent injuries.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied at Body University in Atlanta, GA where they have a partnership with the two most leading certifications in the industry (ACE/NASM). Also I attend several clinics throughout the year for continuing education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My sessions are determined by goals and needs. After I have sat down with a potential client and completed a fitness evaluation I then recommend a package to the prospect based on information shared with me. I believe in starting each client off to where they’re comfortable and it wouldn’t be too much for them (physically) at once.
How did you get started teaching?
I started off training my wife and myself for our wedding. I gained the love for the gym during that process. After having great results of losing 150lbs combine between the two of us I had several people asked me to train them as well. After speaking it over with my wife, I decided to go get the proper education/certification for it to become a fitness professional.
What types of students have you worked with?
My clients ages range from 25-65 years of age. I have worked with individuals that wanted to lose body fat, gain muscle, athletes, and also a couple celebrities.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do your research on that individual. Make sure you’re being invited to do a consultation to discuss your goals and needs. This is your time not only to tell the teacher/coach about you but for you to get all the information, questions and/or concerns you may have addressed. Make sure the teacher you hire is certified in a accredited certification, insured and is knowledgeable in the area he/she promotes. Be sure to discuss all injuries one may have or had. This is very important because a fitness professional will take notes of that while conducting assessment.
