She sees the bright light within every student, finding those unique qualities that make each one shine, and is able to easily direct the individual on how to share their artistry with the world. Coming in as her student, I felt lost in my acting. I knew that I loved the performing arts, but I lacked clear direction. Ms. Buckner gave me the tools and techniques that sharpened my skills, as she consistently sought to provide me with every opportunity to hone my craft. From analyzing Shakespeare, to learning how to breathe life into a new work, to teaching the art of the cold read, to building the foundation of the actor’s improv experience, to prepping the actor on how to make a lasting impression in their slate - Ms. Buckner’s coaching services offer an all-encompassing training for the actor.
