She chooses assignments that are both classic and contemporary and engages students in conversation ranging from introductory comments to profound literary deconstruction. Martha S. says, "Mr. Uhal, in my professional perspective, is a distinguished figure in the field of war history, strategy, and philosophy. His teachings are not merely academic; they are instrumental in preparing students for the realities of warfare and strategic planning. Opening a window to the intellectually accepted reality that these aspects rule our everyday existence. His deep understanding of war history, combined with his expertise in philosophy and strategy, provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the complexities of conflict and relationships. This interdisciplinary approach equips students with a robust intellectual toolkit, enabling them to analyze and interpret historical events through various lenses. Furthermore, his teachings inspire deep analogical philosophical thinking. Students are encouraged to draw parallels between historical events and philosophical concepts, fostering a unique perspective on warfare and strategy. This approach cultivates an environment of intellectual rigor, which is essential in the field of war studies and human behavior altogether. In conclusion, his contributions to the field are significant. His teachings do not merely enrich the mind; they prepare students for unfathomed realities. His influence on the development of future strategists is profound and indispensable. He provides a broader vision, with challenging complexity and near perfect balance. Mrs. Sierra, J.D." Read more

Geoff is very knowledgeable in many things and in particular, history. He is very informative and can teach you just about anything related to history. He has a very good understanding of a broad range of subjects too and he never stops learning as well. He is also an excellent boxing instructor and has been doing that for 20 or so years. I have seen him first hand teach boxing along with teaching it to those who have Parkinson's disease to help with their muscle movements.
