What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The student will message me to schedule a lesson. At the first meeting I will review the students swing and then discuss what the students goals are. After which I will put together a plan to achieve those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Class A PGA Professional with over 25 years of experience teaching the game of Golf. I am a great communicator and focus on understanding the goals of my students.

How did you get started teaching?
I graduated from Ferris State University's Professional Golf Management Program (PGM) in Michigan and successfully Graduated from the Golf Professional Training Program (GPTP) at the PGA of America. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing from Ferris State University.
What types of students have you worked with?
I am regarded by my peers as "The Best Instructor" in North Carolina for Beginners. I also work well with Juniors ages 8-18.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This past fall I was honered to be a volunteer at The Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow Country Club where I got to meet and work with the top 25 PGA Touring Professionals in the World.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I recommend is that you look for a good communicator, who you can understand and would enjoy working with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The goals they want to achieve and the time they plan to spend accomplishing those goals.
