She takes the time to listen to the specific areas in my game I want to improve on and tailors the lesson to those needs while providing drills that produce measured improvement. What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

If you're an elite player, try a few coaches for a session or two and it will be apparent which one to go with to get to your goals the quickest.
