We offer a fun and exciting experience to the public that is second to none: horseback riding lessons! Riding horses is a great way to spend time outdoors while developing a new hobby. Jesse Chase Performance Horses has an all weather facility located just 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh and can accommodate any level and any age rider. Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We typically start riders at the age of 6 with one-on-one private lessons or until we feel a rider has a good understanding and handle on the basic fundamentals. Once those are established, we suggest moving up to a semi-private lesson (2-3 riders) to enjoy ride time with others. It’s not mandatory and some prefer having private lessons; it’s just another option to enjoy horse time with friends or family.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our instructors are educated, experienced horsemen and have earned degrees in Equine science. We are are very accomplished in the show arena and also practice the same horsemanship skills which are taught to all of our students.
