What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to find out what the student's golf background is. How long they have been playing and what they feel like their strengths and weaknesses are.
I like to ask questions to find out what they're thinking and feeling.
I will then begin to evaluate their game and their golf swing. From there, we will talk about what I'm seeing and we will develop a gameplan going forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from NC State University's PGA Golf Management program in May of 2015. I was elected as a PGA Member in February 2016 and am a Class A PGA Professional.
I've had the opportunity to work at some great clubs in the Carolinas and work for some great Professionals.
My work experiences include: Carmel Country Club, Grandfather Golf & Country Club, Pinehurst Resort, Porters Neck Country Club and my current position at Colonial Country Club in Thomasville
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $60 per hour for Adult Lessons and $40 per hour for Junior Lessons (age 18 & Under)
All lesson rates are for 1 hour. Time can be spent on the Driving Range, Putting or Chipping Greens, or on the Golf Course.
Lesson fee includes Range Balls and Video. I send personalized lesson follow-ups with video to my students after each Lesson.
What types of students have you worked with?
My students range from all ages and ability levels. From 5 years old to 75 years old and all ages in between. I have experience teaching beginners all the way to teaching single digit handicappers.
I can adapt my communication style based off the age, ability, and particular needs of the student.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that you enjoy spending time with who has both the knowledge and passion to be able to help you with your golf game.

- How much time will you be able devote to practicing and playing?
- Do you have any physical / health restrictions?
