I completed my doctorate degree in piano performance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My bachelors in piano and voice and masters in piano are from West Texas A&M University. I also have an associates from Amarillo College. In addition to performing around the United States, I’ve performed and studied in the UK, Austria, and Greece. I’m constantly improving my teaching methods to ensure students receive the best possible results; and, I am currently writing and developing my own teaching method. I have taught music for 33 years +. I have my bachelors and masters degree in music education. I have experience working with students of all ages: preschool through adults. Mary's passion for music started at the young age of 7, begging her Mom to let her have music lessons. Since that time, Mary has played in over 15 orchestras, sang in 10 choirs, performed in countless concerts, and received state and regional recognition and awards. Blue Raven Music Studios started as the dream of Husband and Wife, Matt and Jenny Richardson. They wanted to create a fun and inviting atmosphere where music was open to EVERYONE, no matter age or experience! Blue Raven opened in 2009 and has been going strong ever since!
